how should i specify a script for nodejs?

I am trying to run a web app I have written in javascript. When I run the usual node app.js I get this error message.
Error: listen EPERM: operation not permitted 0.0.0.0:80
I have noticed that the content i put in my domains/domain/public_nodejs in being served though, I guess by some nodejs server. How can I specify what javascript nodejs is running?

If it's a question about the Node.js version, it's visible under the command:
devil www list -v
When you add a Node.js site, you choose what version you want it to be in.

The app.js file must be in the domains/domain/public_nodejs directory. After placing the file, visit the address of your site. Node.js applications placed on node.js sites are run by Passenger. If you have a startup problem, check the error.log from domains/domain/logs/.

i face the same problem, i want to use fastify to make an api and i got "operation not permitted" when trying to listen

yes i already did. initially i got an error saying "http.Server.listen() was called more than once, which is not allowed because Phusion Passenger is in auto-install mode." and so i disable the auto-install mode. and now i got "operation not permitted" instead

i override the fastify serverFactory and assign the http server in a variable, and then listen from there
