how do i make an elixir (or erlang) website?

im using phoenix, and im new to elixir, can i host it here? i tried using a proxy set to the port of my site, but even after setting the ports, nothing appeared to happen. i tried to test if the localhost port was open, but it wasn't. how can i go about this? thanks.

First, you need to reserve a port in the hosting account panel, and then start the application with a listener on the reserved port.

I followed an example repo (https://github.com/dwyl/phoenix-chat-example) and when i ran setup, it said it couldn't install tailwind. this is expected, because it was fetching a release binary that doesn't exist, but i cant use npm, since it needs to be installed globally, and getting the linux one results in a strange port error.

to clarify, i mean the linux binary from the github. npm is just a permissions issue

UPDATE: The issue I was getting was this:

I realized it was a permissions error, so I ran chmod +x tailwind-freebsd-x64 and it worked.
