CAN I RUN PERL SCRIPTS IN PUBLIC-HTML..??

Id like to know if in serv00.com we can run perl scipts and if YES in which direcory I need to upliad my files

1) public-html
2) I need to create a cgi-bin direcrory
3) Perl scripts can run in directory I can create with any name off the root directory
